Raymond is a close community of roughly 700 people. Most of us spent three or four years together while at college—some only a few months. Yet here we are, a lifetime later, still identifying ourselves as Raymond College. We call ourselves “family, a tribe, an intentional community”. Our Raymond friends and faculty continue to influence what we read, what we write, how we think, what makes us outraged, and what strikes us as funny.
We have had careers in academe, law, politics, public service, foreign affairs, design, science, art, music, literature, drama. Some of us have had a single life-long career; others have reinvented ourselves on a regular basis. We are a community of smart, confident, articulate, analytical, sassy, tough, nuanced, tender, risk-taking, and connected individuals with a common desire to make the world a better place.
